John (300m) > Perspective!
It all in your point of view. Shot taken with a 14-24mm lens. I was laying on the pier taking this shot. My camera was literally 2" above the water on a floating dock. An Ultra wide gives you a very different perspective and view on the subject.
John (300m) > Sunrise Silhouette
I captured this sunrise on the way to work and wanted to share. I was early that morning so I caught the sun just coming up over the small bay here and the bird lifting off as I took the shot.
\Enjoy the weekend
John (300m) > Flower are blooming

First off, thank you to everyone and there wishes on the tribute photo to Bun-Bun. We greatly appreciate the comments.
I captured this in the yard in the afternoon sun. I saw the bloom while cutting the grass and came back out after I finished to capture this and a few other shot. I really liked the colors and the feel of this delicate flower. My daughter planted these last year. They bloomed through the pile of leaves still there :)
Happy Friday!!
John (300m) > Bun-Bun
We came home from work today to find our 8 yr old bunny near death. She was in her cage on he side, had no interest in people or food. Normally she is hyper and begs for treats at the drop of a hat. She would not move or get up. We called a bunch of vets to find one who would see a rabbit. The vet we normally saw retired and they have no one to see exotic pets. I think I called half the emergency vets without much success. We found one where we take the kittens 30 miles up the road and made the trip. Bun was in a bad way and not responding well at all. The Vet told us it had moved to far to do much to save her. She recommend we euthanize her so she would not suffer. She said it was most likely age and an something else that caught her all of a sudden. We will miss her as she was the 1st rabbit/pet we got as a family. I wanted to do this little tribute to her from me. Bun was a mini Rex and full size.
John (300m) > Mittens:
This is one of the "little" kittens we got from shutterbuglady back in august. She is not so tiny any more and laying on the floor for me posing for the shot.
John (300m) > My Road Bike
This is my 1993 Serotta Colorado Legend Ti road bike. I have logged thousands of miles on this bike since 93. The bike is equipped with Dura Ace groupo & Shimano WH7700 wheels. A lot of the components are old, but they have lasted and served me well. I have a some I have to replace now that age has caught up to as some have reached their service life. I do enjoy riding and I intend to more of it this spring and summer. I wanted to share this shot of the bike after I spent 4 hrs cleaning it, spring cleaning you know. Have a great day.
John (300m) > Lines and colors
Only a pedal head like me would think of this as I cleaned my road bike yesterday. I really liked how the lines flowed and the colors off the walls in the background.
Yes that is dirt in the spoke holes, I was not getting a qtip to get them that clean so they would be dirty in a week :) Stuff on the spokes is are wear, they are a bit old 2000 is when I bough them so you are seeing age on the flat black spokes and pits plus thousands of road miles that I have pedaled. Now that I have posted it is time for a ride befoe it hits that 93 mark today!
John (300m) > I have got the ball, hut one, hut 2
I captured this little guy on my lunch walk and I could not resist. He looks just like a football player on the line ready to go. It is the weekend !
I will catchup on comments later today after I work in the yard
John (300m) > A spot of yellow color
I captured this yesterday on a walk and I could not resist the shot. It just could not resist this shot.
Happy Friday Folks.
