Mr Palikan, a christmas gift from my wife, is holding my Pelikan Grand Place fountain pen. This is part of Pelikan's city series of pens named after the Dutch central square in Brussels. I loved the color and the swirls and saved for the pen. I purchased this pen last year in the fall to add to my collection. I have a small one, 7. I do write with all mine though. This one and my Namiki Hawk, Stirling silver, are my favorites.
Thanks for all yesterdays comments!! I am behind and was overcome by events. They cried wolf here on a winter storm saying 8-12" Now for you folks up north that scoff consider that is very little sand and salt and few plows and no snowblowers. Most shovles here are from folks that lived up north. I have one from a friend in MD. We get snow ~ every 3 years. Granted it is snowing and I have ~ 4" right now so I am happy I can seen snow. To make you laugh, it snows in the night ~1", schools close and by 2PM it is gone :) We got stuff yesterday and food to last for us and the kids that came over and will be here. Came home to my daughter breaking the storm door, casing and all. Another trip to the store for parts and time to repair the casing before the storm. She was OK, no one hurt, but I spent time fixing that. The cat decided to make my light tent his so I bought parts to rebuild it, I spiled water in it last time I use it so between that and Marco it was history. I finished at 11PM. Now I have this monstrosity in the room, I decided to make it bigger 28" vs 12". Mine does not come a part. Bad engineering on my part. Will have to think on this today before both cats have a new toy. Looking over my shoulder both are checking it out now wondering how to get in :)
Have a great day and stay warm!
