June 9: Hot hazy sunrise
Red sky in the morning is a sailors warning. Well at 5:50 AM I saw this sunrise over mill creek at work and stopped for a shot. Temps were already 78 degrees with a promise of 99 today. It was 93 heat index 96 at lunch when I walked. This is generated in camera not in photoshop. The sky was really the blood red color so I set the camera to spot metering and exposed for the sun. I love the burning sun on the water so I zoomed in tighter than normal to get this shot. On a side note I got caught like Alex, found out my raw file backup drive had 7.6G left. Going to be busy tonight with DVD's.
