John (300m) > August 21: Sunrise over the small bay
I saw this on the way into work. It figured that I did not have my D200 with me as we were going out at lunch or a tripod. Then I remember the point & shoot with tripod I keep in the car for just such occasions. I whipped the car into this parking lot overlooking the bay and did a quick setup with my Pro1. I moved to the waters edge did some bracketing to figure my shot and then took a group of 6. I wanted that old pier in the shot and the bridge in the background. The Regatta shots were on the other side of the bridge in the background. The lights in the left are my destination and that bridge I will drive across.. Where I am at use to be a restaurant prior to hurricane Isabel. The building stretched from where my tripod was to that pier in the water. Isabel broke the back for the restaurant and they folded. They removed the building and debris last year and this is sometimes a good place for shots. Today should be interesting as I have to rebuild 2 briefings before I can leave on vacation. Have a great day everyone!
