High Flying
Family doing kit flying on the bay as we were taking a ferry ride. 500mm @ f/5.6. This is how I felt yesterday. My NAS server came in yesterday. I had to run cat 6 cable trhough my vaulted celinigs by walking on my trusses. Getting old for that. Now to move all my pictures to this new 10 TB raid server. 10/23

Humpback bridge
I was travling and saw the sign for this bridge and decided to stop. Bridge is in the western part of VA and not used any more the road on the back side does not exist. The county has actually restored this bridge. Wonderful old bridge. The bridge captured in the afternoon light 1/4

Lower falls
Standing on a rock capturing the lower falls here at babcock. I got a call last night after my daughter went home. Her front spoiler had come loose on the interstate could I come help. So @ 10:30 last night I was jacking her car up and repairing the lower raditor paner ~ 3'x8' that was held on by 2 bolts not 8... I got her home and will repair this weekend HAGD Folks. FYI. I may be a bit scare through the 31st as we start moving and cleaning my daughter tomorrow. We have to be move and out by the 31 and she is 90 mi away so a trip for us every day. Lower vantage
I was at a lower vantage trying to capture the pools here at Babcock. Thank you everyone for your kind words!! This is the worst case of broncititus I have ever had!! If you feel this get to the doc. Just parked for the day waiting for the next run My scope was great, however the dayof my vitals said I was ill BP and HR were wrong. I went to the doctor Thu AM I have broncititus I feel like this truck ran me over Hope everyone else is well! FYI Sat I am doing some moving with my daughter back Sunday 12/21

Decorated Caboose

Best Info I could find on this Caboose: This Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad was also known as the Chessie System which also operated the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad and several other small regional railroads. The Chessie System itself did not own any locomotives or other rolling stock; rather, equipment would be placed on the roster of one of the component railroads. While all of the companies shared a common paint scheme of yellow, and blue, actual ownership of the equipment was denoted by the reporting marks C&O or B&O. This Chessie System caboose features the famous "Chessie" the kitten logo. Cracked
Crack back window and the sun passing through. I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. MY daughter is finally done with everything so we spent the day with her packing left at 8 and got home about 10 pm and then had to unload the car. The next few weeks are going to be fun....... Moving at Christmas. Jobs pending just no offers yet :(. HAGD folks and a wonderful week. Going to finish our tree today and have 90% of our shopping done 12/16

Astro Light
Astro photography done at Bodie Island lighthouse This is the mote shot to Tuesday's picture. This is what was behind the other shot. The moon would rise ~ 15 degrees to the right of the lighthouse. The moon was not slated to rise for another hour + when these pictures were taken, The light you saw in the other picture was a radio tower located ~ 1 mile away. 11/29

"Z". Z/28
Throttle body plack off my old 96 Z/28. The is mounted on the wall in the garage. Car has been gone for a number of years. Z/28 was born in 1968 with a 302 ci motor (5L) solid lifter cam motor 290 hp that could rev to 8K on the track. 4 Spd and 4:11 gearing. The final Z/28 in 2013/2014 was a 427 (7L) producing 505 hp in a lighten body and setup for racing. A beast of a car. 11/25
