Fly wing
This is the left wing of a household fly captured with a 10x microscope objective. this is a merge of 4 shots to make this whole. total count is 1673 shots on this stack with a stepping distance of .0003mm for each shot. It took me all day to capture this series of shots and to merge the final product. File size was 978MB before I flattened so I could save LOL. HAGD Folks!

New Macro Setup
the is my new setup for capturing extreme macro with a 10x objective lens. Lens is a Nikon Plan 10x working distance is 10.5mm. I have switched to verticle from horizontal but this setup will do both. camera is a Z6 II shooting in silent mode, with 160mm of tube lens and a Raynox tube lens with a StackShot automated rail. Vibrtion is your enemy here. the higher the maginifacition the greater the issue

City of Alexander
Concept of the city of alexander lighthouse. This was a fun build. Thanks for the kind words on the move. We are done and boy are we wipped!!! Moving is hard work and so glad we hired movers. Up till midnight both nights but she is totally unpacked and old place cleaned. 60+ boxes plus furniture. Again thanks and everyone HAGD & week!

4x view of a 5 blade razor I shave with. I thought it was clean but you can see the small hairs still on the blades and how rough these blades really are. *****. We are doing the actual move for my daughter this weekend. Think kind thought for me as I have to leave at O dark 30 to drive 100 mile to get there and drop off my wife and meet one of the installers.. Going to be a long day. HAGD and weekend folks!!

Fall colors on a leaf at 2.2x Magnified. The haze is the reflection in my diffusor. the inside is polished. I tried a 2nd round but the LED light I was using one blew. Waiting on a replecement now
