I spotted the light just hitting this leaf. I had to back up and captiure this with the big lens. It really caught my fancy that morning with the light just glowing on that leaf. Lasted about 3 min then gone.
Bodie Island
I was out for a walk at Bodie Island and captured this shot of the lighthouse. Love the sky and the clouds. It was clouding up getting ready to rain when I was there but I got this in the light early befopre the rain decided to move in to visit us. I do have a rain cover for both lenses.

Golden light
Back, vacation is over but wonderful! I just loved this golden light shot I captued this morning. Sweet and the tones were awesome
perspective
POV on the tracks leading just down the way and around the bend. *****. I am off on vacation for ~ 10 day in the AM. Returning Monday 8/5. See you folks then ! Marco is holding his own. We are having to give fluids here at the house to help him him but his weight is stable and level look good
The dance!
I caught this cardnal prancing on the swamp bridge as i came around the corner. He was a bit for but I still managed to capture the shot. Off to the vett with a sick cat in the AM and not sure if I will be on later. Depends on the outcome. His diabetes has gotten worse. 6lbs now.

The George P Coleman bridge and boats/ships at anchor in the York river basin early in the AM. FYI. we have doctors appointments & shopping to do tomorrow so I will be out most of the day. Back Wednesday.

We both meet on the trail and startled each other this AM on the walk. I got a few shots off before shew meandered deeper inot the woods. Camera was set for GIF so I spun the dial to a slower speed but ISO still high.
Morning glow!
I saw this while walking through the park yesterday AM. It's just after sunrise and the sun just hit the bridge I just crossed. I did not have a 24-70 to do the shot justice so I did mu best as I was carring a 200-600. Shot is at 200mm through the trees. HAGD folks!

Honey Bee- Carpenter Bee
Carpenter bees are vicious!!! I disturb them weed whacking yesterday . I have ~ 11 bites & I was a track star running all around the front yard before I got my garage door down. Head, chest, both arms, legs God do I hurt

Thank you to everyone for the kind words and thoughts! Everything is done and we have a lovely gathing of family at my sisters yesterday.Have not had that much family toghter in a long time. My head is telling me I had a great time LOL. Not sure what this bird is but he has clained this feeder block

Sunrise??
The predictor said it was suppose to be good...... Well it was a bit of a bust and this is the best of what I got today. Even the birds shot were lacking LOL. FYI I might be a bit scarce the next day of so mom is just hanging on now and it will not be long. Head over there again after this. She never knew I was there yesterday.
